I've tried MANY times to get pictures of the fireworks and have failed miserably! Not long before we were heading out for the day I saw that my friend Belinda had posted an article on how to get great firework pictures. I didn't have time to really figure out how to set my camera's setting properly, but we did get better pictures this year.
This year the display began at 10:30....we have very LONG summer days here (sun up at like 5AM) Anyway, here was our attempt this year to capture some of the fireworks!
And this is just because Ian was being so cute!
This may be one of last toothless grins...he FINALLY has one almost there.

Those are awesome fireworks shots! 10:30 is so late though, not sure if I could stay awake that long!!! ;-)
